Sheriff Todd Hall reports that over the weekend Pickens County Deputy Franklin attempted to conduct a traffic stop.  The suspect refused to stop and after a short pursuit ran his car into a ditch.

During a subsequent search of the suspect and vehicle, a large quantity of drugs were discovered.

Robert White

Suspect Robert White of Reform was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Drug Trafficking and Attempt to Elude.  Suspect White was transported to the Pickens County Jail where he is being held.

 

In a separate incident, Aaron Billups of Reform was arrested and charged with two counts of Domestic Violence/Strangulation and Reckless Endangerment.  Suspect Billups was transported to the Pickens County Jail where he is being held.
