New Deputies are making a good difference.

Sheriff Todd Hall reports that on March 16,2022 Deputy Elmore, who just recently graduated from the Law Enforcement Academy, was on routine patrol when he observed a traffic violation.  Deputy Elmore notified other officers in the area and conducted a traffic stop.

Additional Officers arrived to assist and observed suspicious activity.  Upon further investigation, a large amount of illicit drugs, drug paraphernalia and credit cards that did not belong to the driver were found.

The driver was arrested on multiple felonies and transported to the Pickens County Jail.
