Sheriff Todd Hall reports that on November 24, 2021 at around 3:45am, Pickens County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop south of Aliceville on Highway 17.  During the stop Deputies detected a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the suspect car.

Upon further investigation the driver was identified and it was confirmed that he had multiple warrants from 2 other agencies.  The driver, Foster Brooks of Aliceville was arrested and a search of the vehicle revealed multiple packages of Marijuana.  Suspect Brooks was transported to Pickens County Jail.

Sheriff Hall asks everyone during the holiday season to be safe and report any suspicious or dangerous situation to your local Law Enforcement Agency.  If you are traveling and need assistance, dial 911 and your call will be routed to the appropriate agency.
