Traffic Stop - Warrant & Marijuana Arrest

Sheriff Todd Hall reports that on November 24, 2021 at around 3:45am, Pickens County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop south of Aliceville on Highway 17.  During the stop Deputies detected a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the suspect car.

Upon further investigation the driver was identified and it was confirmed that he had multiple warrants from 2 other agencies.  The driver, Foster Brooks of Aliceville was arrested and a search of the vehicle revealed multiple packages of Marijuana.  Suspect Brooks was transported to Pickens County Jail.
