Pickens County Sheriff's Office Press Release

 

Sheriff Todd Hall reports that on 9-22-2021 the Pickens County Sheriff's Office received call about a missing child in the Kenny Hill Community.

Upon arrival Deputies discovered that a 6 year old child had been playing in the yard and when the child's mother went to check on him she could not locate him.  The mother immediately contacted the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies on scene contacted multiple Fire and Police Departments that responded to the scene.  Tuscaloosa Police Department Helicopter responded along with Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit.

Shortly after the Helicopter arrived the child was located and returned to family members.  Northstar Ambulance was on scene and checked the child for any injuries.

Sheriff Hall thanks all the agencies that responded to this incident.  We appreciate all the help locating this child.
