Pickens County Sheriff's Office Press Release

Sheriff Todd Hall reports that on Tuesday night March 24, 2021 at approximately 11:30 Aliceville Police responded to a medical call and upon arrival heard multiple gunshots coming from nearby.  Officers immediately went to investigate and found that 4 people had been shot. Of the four, two were deceased.  The other victims were transported to hospitals for treatment.

Officers on scene requested additional Officers and units from Reform, Gordo, Carrollton, Pickens County Sheriffs Office, the 24th Judicial Circuit Investigators and Pickens County Coroners Office responded.

This is an ongoing investigation and we ask anyone with information please contact us through any of the mentioned Departments.  We need your help to bring the individuals responsible for this crime to Justice.
