Pickens County Sheriff's Office News Release

Sheriff Todd Hall announces the arrests of suspects in a shooting incident during Christmas.

Sheriff Hall announces that over the Christmas holiday Deputies of Pickens County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of shots being fired in the area County Road 30 and the Mississippi State Line. Deputies investigating the incident received an additional call about a house receiving firearm damage in the same area.

The Alabama State Game Warden was contacted and along with Pickens County Deputies was able to make three arrests Christmas Eve. The individuals were arrested for various misdemeanor charges including Illegal Hunting and Alcohol charges.

The investigation is ongoing and any information that residents may have would be helpful. The Sheriffs Office appreciates the Community being willing to get involved and giving vital information which lead to the arrest.
