Pickens County Sheriff's Office Press Release

 

 

The Pickens County Sheriffs Office along with the Gordo Police Department will conduct a firearms safety class consisting of two parts.

 

The classroom portion will be conducted at the Sheriff's Office training room in Carrollton on Dec 1, 2020 at 6pm and will last approximately 3 hours.

 

The range portion will be conducted at the Gordo Police Department firing range on Dec 5th at 8am.

 

Due to COVID 19 the class size will be limited to the 1st 14 individuals to sign up.

The class will be conducted free of charge. Participants are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.   Questions may be directed to the Sheriffs Office at 205-367-2000 or the Gordo Police Department at 205-364-7111.

 

With successful completion of this class and future interest, additional classes will be offered.
